This is cause for celebration. Thanks to my friend Paula I actually got to use the word ‘stave’ for the first time this year. Stave is a very rare word that kicks a whole lot of ass. Like Tony Jaa amount of kicking ass. I’m blessed to have been given the opportunity to use this word this year. Finally! We did it man!

Because it’s my blog and all I’d just like to take a second to thank my team you know. They’ve done a hell of a job you know working with what we’ve had to work with. Everyone has been very supportive, and you know without McDonald’s and the help from those guys there man, things would have turned out differently. I’m really looking forward to you know using the word stave again sometime in the future.

Photoshop Tips & Tricks

Making brushed aluminum in Photoshop is easy. Fill a color, add noise, and use motion blur at 90ยบ to create the ‘grain’ of the aluminum. Using a Hue/Saturation layer on top of it is a great way to change your aluminum into wood grain. The same techniques apply to making wood grain as they do aluminum.
