Don’t know about anyone else, but I cannot discern the difference between Stephen McHattie and Lance Henriksen. I just saw McHattie as Dr. Reston in Seinfeld, and remembered that he also played in that movie Shoot ‘Em Up. Henriksen as you recall, was the over-acting bad guy in Hard Target with Jean Claude Van Damme.

So, for everyone out there that thought these guys were the same guy, you are dead wrong. Coulda fooled me though…

If you can tell a difference between Stephen McHattie and Lance Henriksen, you are a better human than I.

  • Henriksen was also the guy from that fox tv show Millennium. At least I think it was him. Shit, it might’ve been McHattie; I would’ve never known the difference. Well either way one of those guys was in that Millennium show.

  • Come on, Henrickson was Bishop in Aliens , a cop in Dog Day Afternoon and the voice of Lockdown in Transformers, how could you mistake him for anyone else? McHattie is good in recent film Pontypool, I think he is the superior actor. I can’t tell the difference between Jim Jamesson and Danny DeVito playing Martini in One Flew Over The Cuckoos Nest.

  • I think their both great actors. Love McHattie in Death Valley. Love Herrickson in Pumpkinhead, Aliens and Millenium. Don’t make actors like this anymore.

  • You want to see something really freaky? Go to Hulu and watch Season 2, Episode 6, “Slay Ride.” I watched the whole thing thinking that Stephen McHattie was Rutger Hauer—Roy Batty of Blade Runner. They could be twins. Fraternal twins, maybe, but… See for yourself. But there’s no way I could confuse McHattie with Lance Henriksen. They just don’t look that much alike to me. Cousins, maybe. P.S.: “Millennium” was one of the finest TV shows ever made. Henriksen was brilliant in it!

  • Wait! Don’t stop now…take a look at pics of Peter Weller & Scott Glenn. All 4 of these guys could be brothers! Hmmm, there are others that kinda make me wonder, like David Arquette & Edward Norton. I also think Dennis Quade is morphing into Harrison Ford!! I never was too sure about the original 2 talk show hosts; Merv Griffin & Mike Douglas. As for the ladies: back in their younger days: Rosanna Arquette & Rebecca DeMornay. What about Meg Ryan, Mellanie Griffith & maybe Goldie Hawn?

Photoshop Tips & Tricks

Making brushed aluminum in Photoshop is easy. Fill a color, add noise, and use motion blur at 90º to create the ‘grain’ of the aluminum. Using a Hue/Saturation layer on top of it is a great way to change your aluminum into wood grain. The same techniques apply to making wood grain as they do aluminum.
