Fun with the new Photoshop CS4 Liquify Filter

Photoshop CS4 has a neato little filter that can bring great fun. Here’s couple funny ones…

This is like endless hours of fun… you should probably check out CS4.

Wasn’t the Liquify tool there from CS2?
I’ve used CS2 on Windows and that tool was there, and on my Mac it’s there in CS3.
If you say it’s a feature worth upgrading for, why not just get CS3 for really cheap?
Unless of course, you’re getting paid to pimp out CS4 to the newbies who don’t know any better.

But wait a minute… how the fucking hell did you (a professional, no?) not know about the Liquify tool in the past two version of Photoshop? It’s been around for over 3 years.
What version are you using now?

Yes you are absolutely correct the Liquify tool is not new to CS4, thanks for catching that. Currently I use CS3 and have been using a trial for CS4. CS4 runs remarkably faster than CS3 for me although the suite as a whole is lacking a few features that it’s unreal to me that weren’t added. Oh well, guess they need to keep us wanting CS5 6 7 8 9 and 10. I’ll probably end up upgrading but just not sure if it’s entirely worth the money.

My liquify tool in CS2 has stopped working. Does anyone know why this would happen? It opens up but when running the tool over the image, nothing happens, no adjustment is made. Is there something like number lock I’ve accidentally switched on?
