Airwolf season 1: Bite of the Jackal
Bite of the Jackal, the 4th episode of Airwolf uses some goofy kid just like episode 3. This time, instead of Hawke having an affinity for a child, this time it’s Santini’s turn. Dominic (Earnest Borgnine) must have been jealous that Jan-Michael got to show his tender side in the previous episode. Or maybe the writers just wanted us to know that they are both compassionate, caring guys.
All I know, is they are both pretty cool. Dominic gets to fly some real antique piece of helicopter in this episode, but a real cornhole gunning for Archangel’s job has other plans.
You won’t wanna miss this installment. Airwolf’s seemingly impenetrable forcefield is easily thwarted by a couple of cheaply hired militia men that might as well have thrown a rock into Airwolf’s rotor. Thankfully for us though, Airwolf is able to use his turbo thrusters and mach 1 to safety.
Unfortunately for us, ‘safety’ is a bunch of bad acting miners who mine salt in the middle of the salt flats. After giving Hawke some initial trouble, they quickly become friends as Hawke stumbles upon their ever-convenient ALREADY burning iron forge.
Even if you hate Airwolf, you’ll appreciate Stringfellow’s unbelievable blacksmithing talents. Enjoy.
